Early learners…Future Leaders.

Let your child grow in love, confidence and independence.”

PURPOSE AND GOALS

The Center seeks to provide a facility where parents can leave their children while they embark upon their endeavors in life.  Parents can be assured that their children will receive excellent care in their surrogate home.

The Center offers a wide range of enriching activities to meet the needs of each child.  Our goal is to focus on building each child's emotional, social, cognitive and physical  skills.

Socialization and problem-solving are integral to the activities the teachers plan for the children.

Our program seeks to:

  1. Support established standards and guidelines for early childhood education
  2. Offer a wide range of enriching activities flexible enough to allow the teacher to adapt it to meet the needs of each child
  3. Provide creative, hands on activities that allow children to engage in  real life situation and learn through experimentation and exploration and encourage development of higher order thinking skills.
  4. Strong academic foundation that would facilitate the development of the whole child, positive morale, social, affective and physical ability through developmentally appropriate activities.
  5. Encourage family involvement and keep family members informed of the child’s development.

TIMES OF OPERATIONS:

Operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. through 6:30 p.m.

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES:

  • Parents may secure a child care application from the center during regular office hours.  Regular office hours are from 6:30 am to 6:30 p.m.

  • Parents are required to submit a medical examination report and a current immunization report on  their child no later than the first day of enrollment.
  • Parents are encouraged to visit the center before their child is enrolled and should bring their child with them.  This will give the child an opportunity to meet the staff members and other children before the first full day of attendance.
  • It is the responsibility of the parent to report to the center any change of address, telephone numbers (home and work), employment, emergency contact person and medication information.

No reduction in fee will be made for the child's absence due to illness, vacation holidays, or any emergencies.

SAFE ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE POLICY:

All parents must sign their child in upon arrival and sign out when picking up their child. Staff members will not receive a child before 6:30 a.m.  NOTE: children’s drop in time is until 9 am only unless there is prearranged schedule.

Part of the teaching success is to provide individualized attention to each child.  This attention provides us with an opportunity to better gauge how well the child is performing and whether he/she needs additional time to better grasp specific educational material.  Therefore, when your child arrives after 9 am, the class has

moved to another activity and your child has missed out on a very important part of his/her class work.

To prevent unnecessary accidents, parents are asked to take your child directly to the center.

IF AN INDIVIDUAL, OTHER THAN THE PARENT/GUARDIAN IS PICKING UP YOUR CHILD, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE STAFF MEMBER.  THE INDIVIDUAL MUST SHOW IDENTIFICATION SUCH AS DRIVER'S LICENSE PRIOR TO DEPARTURE WITH THE CHILD.

DISCIPLINE POLICY:

Will be provided upon enrollment

VISITATION:

Parents are welcome to visit their child anytime. However,  in order not to interrupt the children’s activities such as naptime, we ask that parents schedule an appointment and discuss their concerns with their child.

MEALS:

Breakfast will not be served after 9 AM. Be sure your child has eaten if you come in after 9 AM.

If you have any questions, please give me a call at 240-823-7176. Thank you.
